2. Service Provided "As Available"
We work to keep the Services reliable and accurate, but websites, networks, devices, browsers, cameras, printers and third-party systems can fail or change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or compatibility with every device or environment.
3. QR Code Scannability and Printing
QR code performance can depend on size, contrast, error correction, quiet zone, print material, surface, lighting, camera quality, placement, distortion and other factors. Users should test QR codes on multiple devices before mass printing, packaging, advertising or public distribution. IMQRScan is not responsible for printing costs or campaign losses resulting from failure to perform reasonable testing, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
4. Dynamic QR Codes and Destination Availability
Dynamic QR codes may depend on an active IMQRScan service, account status and a valid destination. A destination may also become unavailable because of a third-party website, domain, hosting provider, file, account or service outside our control. Users are responsible for maintaining their destination content and subscription where required.
5. User Content and Third-Party Destinations
QR codes created by users may link to websites, files, forms, social profiles, payment pages or other third-party destinations. IMQRScan does not endorse user-generated destinations merely because they are accessed through an IMQRScan QR code. The user who creates or controls the QR code is responsible for ensuring that destination content is accurate, lawful and safe.
6. Prohibited Use
Users must not use IMQRScan for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful or prohibited purposes. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:
- fraud, scams, impersonation and deceptive schemes;
- phishing, credential theft, malware, viruses or malicious downloads;
- casinos, gambling, betting or wagering services;
- alcoholic beverage or liquor sales, ordering, advertising, distribution or promotion;
- pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual services or explicit/graphic nudity;
- child exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, trafficking, threats or serious harm;
- Tobacco, smoking and nicotine products: cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, vaping/e-cigarette products, nicotine products, smoking-related products, or their sale, ordering, distribution, advertising or promotion.
- intellectual-property infringement or unlawful disclosure of personal information; and
- any activity prohibited by applicable law.
We may disable or remove violating content or accounts as described in our Terms and Conditions.
